Software Engineer, Fullstack

About the opportunity:

You'll build the product experience that sits between frontier AI systems and demanding technical users, solving interaction problems that simply didn't exist before agentic AI. Every feature you ship will directly shape how engineers work with AI in the physical world.

About the role

• Build the core product platform upon which Archie is built and shipped to customers.
• Responsible for end-to-end product features that may span architecture, back end, front end, and reliability.
• Develop and adopt state of the art best practices for using coding agents in the team's development workflow.
• Work closely with our forward deployed engineers, AI researchers, fellow SWEs, and founders to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on entirely new product concepts.
• Ship continuously, respond to feedback from customers, and refine the product through rapid iteration.

About you:

• SWE heavyweight that can work across architecture, infrastructure, back end, front end, and everything in between.
• Taken products or significant features from concept through production and can clearly explain the engineering decisions made along the way.
• Take deep pride in the product you put out.
• Always experimenting with the latest AI products to optimize your workflow for efficiency and code caliber.
• Have public proof of talent through products, open-source work, personal projects, technical writing, or other artifacts you've created.
• Thrive in fast-moving environments where ownership is high, ambiguity is normal, and shipping quickly matters.

Location:

Remote (US/Canada) or San Mateo, CA. Remote employees spend one week out of six working together on-site in our San Mateo office. Relocation support available.
