About the Job

As a Product Manager at Valkryn, you'll define the product suite that enables the next generation of test and evaluation. You'll master the domain: how the warfighter fights, the hardware they fight with, and how evaluation actually gets done. You'll walk the line between what is and what ought to be as you set the roadmap and priorities. And you'll learn it all in the field, not from a dashboard, side by side with the users running the tests.

What You’ll Do

• Own product direction, from tactical prioritization to long-term product vision, in lockstep with engineering
• Become the subject matter expert on test and evaluation: the customers, the hardware, and the CONOPS a battle lab has to replicate
• Embed with customers on the range to see how testing actually gets done and where it breaks
• Set the bar for product design across Valkyn's suite of products
• Partner with GTM and Ops scale product thinking across the company

Qualifications

Required

• 4+ years of product management experience shipping real products
• A proven product management track record shipping real products
• A portfolio or other evidence of strong design taste and UX judgment
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to test ranges and customer sites; this role learns in the field
• Experience working embedded with engineering teams
• U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
• Willingness to work in our NYC (Gramercy Park) office, 5 days per week

Preferred

• Defense, aerospace, or test and evaluation domain experience
• Experience with products that touch hardware or physical operations
• Early-stage or founding-team experience
• Able to sit with customers and intuit needs from observation alone
• Fluency with AI coding agents as a multiplier on your output
• Existing Secret or Top Secret level U.S. security clearance
