RF Engineer

Qualifications

Required

• Experience integrating, fielding, or operating RF systems, whether instrumentation, EW, radar, or communications
• Systems engineering fluency: you've owned requirements, interface definitions, integration, and/or verification for systems that shipped or deployed
• RF measurement tools expertise: spectrum analyzers, signal generators, SDRs, receiver characterization, and knowing when your data is lying to you
• Working knowledge of EW fundamentals: jamming and deception techniques, emitter behavior, and receiver performance under contested conditions
• Willingness to travel to test ranges and customer sites
• U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance

Preferred

• Defense, aerospace, or test and evaluation domain experience
• Prior experience with test events and tooling for DoW RF/EW programs
• Open-air test range experience: range instrumentation, spectrum authorization and deconfliction, time-space-position information (TSPI), and live test execution
• SDR and automation skills: GNU Radio, Python, or similar tools for building and scripting RF data pipelines and workflows
• Fluency with AI coding agents as a multiplier on your output
• Existing Secret or Top Secret level U.S. security clearance
